Finding pandemic-friendly trips and activities is an exciting but challenging task but this day trip is not only beautiful, fun, and close to Toronto but it also follows COVID-19 safety guidelines in terms of physical and social distancing.
**Due to COVID-19 restrictions, you will have to get timed tickets.***
Make sure to subscribe to Terre Blue Friends of the Farm email newsletter because you will be given an invitation to purchase tickets to the farm during the 2020 season.
I myself went to Terre Bleu Lavender Fields in Milton two weeks ago for the very first time, and now want to make this mini-adventure a yearly affair. It is located at 2501, Sideroad 25. This is an actual family run working the farm, where they plant, prune, and harvest the lavender by hand.
There’s something so magical about walking along a sea of purple, smelling lavender and hearing the gentle hum of bees flying from petal to petal.
I have noticed that this year instead of yellow door, they’ve installed a 16 feet in the air, flower swing that glides above lavender and sunflowers.
For this particular trip I chose to wear a new piece to my closet, this off-shoulder floral dress in Blue from ChicWish. I can’t seem to get enough of the off-the-shoulder trend for summer, so I’m glad that this piece incorporates that detail. Unfortunately, this dress is not available online, but I’ve added similar here and here.
Hat: Straw Hat (similar: here and here)// Purse: Straw Bag //Sandals: Valentino
As much as I love the city, and living in Toronto, sometimes it feels good to escape for an afternoon. Have you been to the lavender fields? What’s your favourite place to go outside of Toronto? Let me know!
Love,
Olya
