Max Mara Sample Sale Powered By StyleDemocracy

Hello my Beauties!

There are so many things I love about fall fashion, but outerwear has to be the thing that gets me most excited. Living in a cold climate means that it’s not only fashionable, but essential too!

So when I heard that Style Democracy was hosting a Max Mara sample sale, I knew that was my opportunity to grab my perfect “fall” coat that will forever live in my closet!

The brand pairs smart dressing with Italian craftsmanship, using a timeless, neutral colour palette of camelgrey, white and brown — the Max Mara sale spares no style.

From teddy bear coats to camel coats to leather moto’s and trenches – this is what you can expect to see.

I tried on different models of varying price points: Manuela and Weekend Max Mara. Overall I found that most of the coats I tried on ran a true to my designer clothing size .

That being said, I was on the hunt for a camel coat and I was supper excited to find this stunning 100% wool camel coat, worth 2k, but only paid: $500!!!

For colder days, this camel coat is a great alternative to the one above. It’s length and wool-blend material make it warm enough for even the coldest days here in Toronto. I love the oversized lapels for a structured look.

Since I’m a little bit obsessed with camel, especially for Fall, I also grabbed this luxe wool (70%)/cashmere(30%) blend sweater! It was worth $975, and I paid $275!

If you’re interested in attending the Max Mara sample sale, hosted by Style Democracy, it’s on from Nov 4th-8th at the York Mills Gallery located at 1885 Leslie Street, North York, ON. Hours of operation: Wed-Fri 10am-8pm & Sat-Sun 10am-6pm (check out flyer below)!

A little bit about the sale: They have all the necessarily safety measures in place. I got my temperature taken, hands sanitized, and all shoppers respected the social distancing rules. Everything was organized by product category & by size, so you can easily find your way around & go straight to your desired section. Prices are clearly indicated on the big boards, where you see the “Original Retail” and “Sample Sale Price”. Max Mara actually has 5 different brands, so prices are listed by brand. There was a ton of coats, blazers, sweaters, dresses, pants, skirts, shoes & accessories to choose from & they re-stock the sale daily! Max Mara being a luxury brand, there was no surprise that all the pieces were of the highest quality: wool coats, cashmere sweaters, etc!

There are no fitting rooms but they have installed mirrors all over the floor so that you can try on the clothes. Also, even thought its a sample sale, they have a wide range of sizes from XS to XL, so don’t worry about not being able to find something in your size – you will likely find multiple pieces like me! Be ready to go over your budget! ( Haha)

Highly recommend you check out this Max Mara sample sale – you will not be disappointed!

Olya 🙂
