Today’s post will be a little bit different from previous posts, because I will be talking about “SHORTS.” Yes, they’re a summer staple, but not everyone thinks they look good in them.
I know most of us have a love/ hate relationship with shorts, but it shouldn’t be like this. There are a lot of girls that fear of camel toe and constant wedgies aside, but shorts are necessary on a hot, humid summer day.
The key to shorts is finding the right length and fit in the hips/waist!
High-Waisted Linen Shorts
For this look, I found these cute embrodered-trim shorts in beau champs linen . These pretty high-rise shorts are dressy enough for summer nights but easy enough to throw on during the day.
I’ve added the cutest peplum top . I am in love with this feminine mockneck top with pretty cutouts all over. Plus, the contrast neckline adds a unique touch.
Another top option can be cropped polka dot top. This cropped top is billowy in all the right places and in super breathable soft rayon, to boot. It looks great over high-waisted shorts but don’t let that stop you from pairing it with skirts, wide-leg pants and everything in between.
Shorts in Stripes
Introducing Point Sur—inspired by J.Crew original collection of LA-made denim, it’s the kind of cool that never goes out of style. Seaside shorts – are crafted in drapey cotton and with a drawstring waist, they’re destined to be your warm weather go-to for many seasons to come.
This season I am all about tees that make a statement—like this one in soft cotton that says “Girls just wanna have sun.”
