Hello Beauties,
There were a lot of you who DM and asked me if I am going to share my experience about “Miracle Cocktail” treatment. The reason why I haven’t shared my experience with you earlier is that I wanted to wait and see if this treatment really works and worth $800.00. As you know from my previous blog posts my skin is combination and is very sensitive, so I have to be very careful what products I use and see if there is any allergic reaction that might happen after couple of days.
Before I jump in and do a step-by-step review, I would like to explain what “Miracle Cocktail” treatment is. Basically, it’s a process called skin channeling/skin needling, similar to micro-needling. Basically, a small tube with tiny needle is lightly stamped onto your skin, so your customized serum goes deeper into your skin layers. This action rejuvenates the collagen and elastin thus helping you with pretty much all skin issues like wrinkles, big pores, acne scars, or pigmentation.
Now grab a cup of coffee or tea, because I have a lot to say 😊
Step 1:
“THE CLINICA” located at 4789 Younge St, Unit 1214, Toronto, ON, M2N0G3. If you are from Toronto then you know that this is North York (Sheppard-Yonge) area, inside the Hullmark Centre. Since there is no sign and the first floor looks more like regular office, don’t think you are not in the right building. You are, you just need take the elevators to the 12th floor.
Once you enter the clinic, you will notice right away how cute and aesthetic this place is and on top they use one of my favourite skin care brands – AlumierMD . (you can read what I use from AlumierMD line HERE ).
Step 2:
Next step you will be asked to go through the questionnaire on iPad. This is more an overview to let them know about your skin concerns that you currently have. After that you will be asked to complete face analysis. They use Sylton-Observ scanner to take photos of your skin at different layers to look at hyperpigmentation, oil production, dryness, and dehydration. I won’t lie it was weird to see all these pictures, but now I feel like I am more aware about the condition of my skin and what treatments can help in the future.
Step 3:
After the skin analysis I had the option of getting the mild Miracle Cocktail (pharmaceutical grade $499) or the advanced Miracle Cocktail (prescriptive grade $799). Of course, I decided to go with an advanced.
I was introduced to my esthetician Kate who took me to another room, she asked me to lay down and relax. By then my customized serum was ready, Kate walked me through the whole procedure and what can I expect to happen.
- She cleaned my face using “Purifying Gel Cleanser” from AlumierMD to remove impurities and excess oil from my face.
- Applied “Enzymetic Peel” – a highly effective exfoliator that combines 10% lactic acid with fruit enzymes bromelain and papain to exfoliate dead skin cells and promote skin renewal, minimizing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation.
- She used Hyaluronic Acid to smooth my skin before the treatment.
- Kate gently started stamping the product all over the skin and twice over for the places I needed that extra boost (slight wrinkles from smiling around the eye area). I barely felt any pain during the treatment. I give the pain level a 0.8 out of 10.
- Then my esthetician applied a “Recovery Balm” and I was done.
She told me to keep the balm on my face for 4 hours or as an option overnight and wash it off the next day. In the end, I’ve asked Kate how long can I expect this treatment to last for? On what she advised that it can last from 1 to 2 month and if I want to see a long-lasting result I will require to do two more.Of course, it was nice to get a complimentary treatment, but it didn’t’ feel like the treatment was worth the price point at the time. I didn’t want to rush and write the review right away, first I wanted to wait.I was under impression that the result will be immediate, but again how could I expect the immediate result when somebody just used a needle on my face…Duhhh…
My skin got better and better with every day, my skin was healing itself (from the needle, remember?). I was pretty excited to see fresher skin around my eye area.Speaking of the price, THE CLINICA has an opening sale, 30% off all non-injectable treatments only until April 15, 2019. I personally think this is a pretty good deal to try this out and see if you like it or not.
This post is not sponsored. I received complimentary treatments of the Miracle Cocktail, and there was no obligation to post. All opinions are of my own.
Love,
Olya
