Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil Review

Goof Proof Brow Pencil Review

New brows, who dis? 📞

While I still can’t see my brow girl @bb.by.brittnialexandra (you can read my previous blog here and here ), I decided to use @benefitcanada  #goofproofbrowpencil in shade 2.5 to define my brows!

Let me tell you, my BROWS are on fleek!

Goof Proof Brow Pencil Review

HOW IT LOOKS/FEELS:

One end features a retractable, angled liner that is smooth and waxy and goes on semisheer; the other end has a full-size spooley brush. It’s available in six shades, so there’s an option for nearly every hair color (except fiery red and gray).

WHY I LIKE IT:

With all the newfangled brow powders, pomades, and waxes out there, a regular old pencil seems kinda snoozy. Except for the fact that this is one heck of a brow pencil. The angled tip means it’s easy to draw hairlike strokes, and the formula is waxy enough that the pigment goes on sheer (and can be darkened by layering), but not so waxy that you have to dig the tip into your skin to get any payoff. It also has the powdery, matte finish of a pomade, so the pencil strokes blend right in with your natural hair. The icing on the cake is the attached spooley brush, which helps you both comb unruly brows into place and blend and blur the pigment if you’ve applied too much.

Goof Proof Brow Pencil Review

I’ve been using this pencil for weeks now and have been thrilled with the results. Unlike several brow formulas, this one leaves me with natural-looking and fluffy brows. The shade stays put for over 6 hours, even on the most humid of days, without fading or smudging.

Long lasting, pigmented and easy to use, this chic pencil is worth every penny. Since it comes in a whopping 12 shades, including grey, it will pretty much work for everyone!
