Glow Recipe Review

Hi Beauties,

Ready. Set. Glow! In today’s post I will be reviewing all my favourite skincare products from Glow Recipe. Grab a coffee or tea and let’s jump into it! 🙂

This year and every year coming up- I’m leading my life with great skin. Once you have a good skincare routine- there is no stopping you, trust me on this. I take my skincare as seriously as some people take religion. I have high standards (in all areas of life) and like products that use natural ingredients , ingredients that are nourishing and great for sensitive skin.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask

There’s a reason why this overnight mask has sold out seven consecutive times. Besides smelling deliciously, it differs from the usual thick creams in that it has a bouncy gel-like consistency that instantly sinks into your skin.

I swear by this product. My skin was so incredibly dry and itchy and peeling. Used this once a night and my skin feels smooth and dewy without being oily.

This eye mask is another destined for your bedtime routine.Expect deep hydration (bye, fine lines) while the mask de-puffs and awakens the delicate area throughout the night.

I’ve been using it for a couple weeks and have noticed a difference. I have sensitive skin and it’s only bothered when I get it on my temple or upper cheek.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Pink Juice Oil-Free Moisturiser

Dew Drops Serum + Pink Juice Moisturizer

The perfect winter solution for those who want calm, prepped skin before make-up, this brightening, lightweight moisturizer is another in the series that offers a fresh hit of hydration with the benefits of watermelon extract, hyaluronic acid, and botanicals.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist

Immerse skin into a hydrating watermelon mist so ultra-fine and delicate, it envelops your skin like a dreamy morning fog. This formula is packed with a juicy blend of 84% watermelon, hyaluronic acid, and hibiscus AHAs to refresh skin and enhance makeup.

Besides looking pretty, this bi-phase mist combines two great things into something even better. Shake it before you spray it to mix up the nourishing-oil layer with the water-based active extracts for a haze of softening, smoothing, and illuminating hydration. You’ll love this facial mist for its ability to enhance your natural dewy glow and your makeup with a single spritz.

Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops

Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops

For those unfamiliar, niacinamide is a powerhouse ingredient with a boatload of skin-care benefits. When applied topically, it can decrease inflammation from acne and rosacea, reduce the appearance of fine lines and pigmentation, and overall enhance skin tone

Because I’ve been essentially hibernating in my house in Toronto, my skin has been experiencing more redness, flakiness, and dullness than usual. So far, I’ve been slathering on all of my most intensely-hydrating skin-care products, but no singular product has visibly reduced my redness and enhanced my glow as well as the Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops has.

The lightweight, cooling pink formula has a gel-like texture similar to that of the Plum Plump Hyaluronic Serum, so it sinks into my skin immediately. A few minutes post-application, my redness is all but invisible.

Glow Lip Pop Lip Balm

Glow Lip Pop Lip Balm

Having already rebranded watermelon as theultimate skin-care ingredient (for masks, moisturizers, mists, and more), Glow Recipe has now set its sights on a totally new product category: Lip care.

When I looked closely at the Glow Recipe tube, I could actually see the tiny flecks of coconut sugar on the surface of the balm. But when I swiped it on, they didn’t feel gritty or scratchy; instead, the tiny granules dissolved on contact while gentle AHAs did the real resurfacing. The result? Born-again, moisturized lips thanks to the intensely hydrating coconut and watermelon seed oils. Not only did my lips feel smoother, but the dry patches also looked visibly better after a week. I even found myself skipping my usual hard-core lip scrubs; turns out, an ounce of prevention really is worth a pound of cure.
