Who am I? Second post this week, but honestly nature inspires me. Drowning in a field of flowers is what brings me joy and peace, because flowers remind me that just like life, with a little water, sun, and a whole lotta love, even we can bloom and grow. So why not get lost in the sunflower blossoms less than an hour from Toronto?
If there’s one thing that always makes me smile it’s flowersssss! I would travel the world for pretty flower fields.
Yesterday, Darina ( who is not only my photographer, but also my friend) and I went for an evening drive. Less than an hour our away and I got whisked away to the sunflower fields…
These sunflowers were INSANELY big – like 8 feet tall big! We caught the light at the perfect time (sunset/golden hour) and Darina and I were saying how this may have been one of our favorite/most magical shoots to date.
Today’s look features two recent finds that I seriously cannot get enough of. I had to wear this pretty embroidered dress in classic shape. Also features shirred square neck, puff sleeves and frill hem.
For the expecting mamas out there – I’ve been getting some requests for non-maternity clothes that’ll still accommodate a bump. I have several pregnant friends who don’t want to spend money on maternity wear, so I’m always keeping an eye out for pieces that’d work for them, too!
This day will forever be one of my favourite Canadian summer evening and these pictures make for some of my favourite memories, I hope you enjoy them!
