Happy 1st Day of October!
Are you ready to style the leopard skirt?
I first started seeing animal prints last August. I knew this was going to be a hot trend for the rest of the year especially when I spotted girls wearing animal prints all over fashion week. I was still in doubt, because once people see slavic girl wearing animal print, they make stupid assumptions…You know what I mean, right?
Anyway, it didn’t stop me especially when I saw J. Crew animal print midi skirt. I am 5.4 so wearing large prints can be intimidating sometimes for my smaller frame. If you are petite and curious how to style print skirt, this blog post is for you.
STYLE TIP # 1: Style your leopard print with neutrals.
Most people consider leopard print as neutral, so I thought it would be fun to style this animal printed midi skirt with more neutrals. Style your skirt with brown, white or lilac sweater. I personally styled my leopard skirt with white cotton blouse and another look I’ve styled with lilac cardigan sweater from J.Crew. I call it: one skirt, but you can wear 2 days in the raw with different tops.

STYLE TIP # 2: Style your leopard print skirt with heels or block heels
Did you know that you can give the illusion of height by wearing midi skirts and heels together? I the winter I love wearing block heeled boots or booties and in the office my heels that will match my top 😊

STYLE TIP # 3: Keep Accessories at a minimum.
The animal print the focal point of my outfit so I chose to keep my accessories at a minimum. I’m still wearing earrings, but I chose not to style any necklaces, bracelets, or rings with this outfit.

I wouldnt have considered the pink sweater top to style with the skirt but you do a great job modelling it. The white top goes great also with it. Great tip on heels and a midi skirt. Happy Friday Olya, Terri xo.
