Belts. They really don’t get the credit they deserve. Actually… I think they’re the most underrated item in fashion! Rarely do I read about them in magazines or on other blogs. Yet, a belt is an essential wardrobe item that every woman should have! Most of the belts I own were either my mom’s at one point – aka I stole them from her closet –  or I got them as my Birthday gift from my hubby ( lol…). There’s maybe two or three belts that I wear quite often, including my VOCHIC  metal fashion skinny leather belt with gold elastic buckle.

Which reminds me, finding my go-to belt was such a battle, it’s just proof how important having a good quality belt is! I’d been wearing a black belt with gold buckle on repeat for years, and it finally decided to fall apart and die on me. I immediately went on the hunt for a new one because, hello, what girl can survive without a basic black belt in their closet?! Definitely not me! I’ve always been more of a statement belt kinda gal. One day, while shopping at Amazon, I stumbled across this black one that fit the bill and Bingo I had to order right away!

As a fashion blogger, I like to wear belts more for the style. If you ask me, belts are the one accessory that can make an outfit feel finished and perfect, other than a great hat of course. 😉

For today’s outfit, I wanted to look effortlessly chic and show off my curves 🙂
